Founded in 1975, Moda in Pelle – Italian for “fashion in leather” – has been crafting beautiful shoes for over 40 years. Since then, we’ve been combining British sophistication with fine Italian quality and gorgeous leathers in a range of stunning shoes, boots, bags and accessories.

Moda in Pelle began life in Leeds, Yorkshire. Owner and founder Stephen Buck opened the first Moda store in 1975 on Leeds’ Bond Street, selling fine women’s goods crafted in Italian leather for the discerning customer. Over 40 years later, our head offices are still based in Leeds, and we’re proud of our Yorkshire heritage.
