The foundation of a Carl Stuart suit plays around its impeccable construction.    

Each garment is individually cut by hand; checks and stripes are matched at all seams, even those that aren’t exposed and all buttons are made of horn.  

Collars and lapels are hand-stitched with a minimum number of stitches to ensure shape and balance.

Only natural fibers are used in the creation of our garments, from the fre- floating canvas that moulds to the shape of the wearer, to shoulder pads, linings, cotton and silk threads, pocketing and more, all components that have been carefully selected to the highest standards of quality and responsible sourcing, complemented by a fabric library.  Your Made to Measure Specialist will guide you through this library which includes but is not limited to the best wool from Yorkshire, cashmere from Scotland, and the finest selection of Italian tessuti.
