Their latest campaign, Wear The Damn Shorts, is a bold, body-positive movement that started in 2023 after a heartfelt, viral video from one of their customers. She walked into a Sweaty Betty store and walked out inspired — not just by the products, but by the empowering energy of the Sweaty Betty store team. This scenario highlighted a really important message, and since this, they’ve made it their mission to highlight this in stores globally.
From flash mobs featuring diverse women proudly rocking the campaign WTDS (Wear The Damn Shorts) tees to mobile “power pods” inspired by Sweaty Betty changing rooms, they’re hosting uplifting dance classes with fitness partner Frame and invited women everywhere to find strength in their stories — together.
Now, in Leeds, they’re taking this further.
A Movement with Meaning
Unfortunately, many women don’t feel confident wearing or working out in shorts. Sweaty Betty wants to change that, one squat at a time.
Sweaty Betty conducted two surveys, revealing the reality that many face:
