Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be working alongside the team ensuring that all maintenance issues within the store have been highlighted and remedied, to best working practices.
Monitoring routine maintenance, keeping records, and responding to general faults and issues will be central to your role, as will providing advice and guidance on maintenance issues, ensuring that the upkeep of the building is to Harvey Nichols standards and compliant with health and safety and fire regulations.
General maintenance skills and experiences of painting and decorating are essential. Ideally you will also have basic knowledge of joinery and plumbing. You will work 5 days out of 7 including some weekends and evenings.
In addition you will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver excellent customer service. You should have sound planning and organising abilities, and be able to use your initiative within a pressurised environment.
